Catholic, Pilot

Currently, I am a Houston-based pilot flying the Embraer 175. This is truly a great career, and I am doing what I can to make it even better. We went through a rough patch in 2020 during the pandemic, but hopefully we will rebound very well and our future will be very promising.

Traveling is part and parcel of my vocation. I love going overseas and have been to six of the seven continents. Some have asked me what my favorite country has been thus far. It is a really good question, and I don't have a clear-cut favorite. However, South Africa and Italy were quite memorable, and I will always have fond memories of a cruise I took with my family at age 19 and our trip to Hawaii at age 20 (that's where and when I learned how to surf!).

I learned to code HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and I still enjoy web design and development. After trying different frameworks, I decided to focus on Vue.js. My plan is to make an app for Broadband Guitar using Quasar, an open source framework that is truly remarkable. I did have one app in the Apple and Google stores for the Latin Mass, but it's no longer available there. Hopefully, I can make a traditional Catholic progressive web app with Quasar!

I also love music. My first instrument was the piano. And after a long musical "hiatus", I picked up the guitar in high school, then got into the bass in college, and advanced to the classical guitar. My favorite song to play? Schubert's "Ave Maria". Quite possibly one of the greatest songs ever composed...

Last but not least, I am a Traditional Catholic who loves the Latin Mass, Our Lady, and Christ's Church. It has been declared infallibly by three different popes at three different times that no one is saved outside of the Church. Father Feeney was a great theologian and outspoken defender of this dogma. Unfortunately, he was silenced and excoriated by both liberal and traditional Catholics.

I encourage you to pray the Holy Rosary every single day without exception! Our Lady of Fatima made this request to 3 small shepherd children over 100 years ago.
